Vittoriotube!

Great news! After much misery and pain I finally have my first little tooth poking through. Daddy noticed it on Saturday morning. It isn't totally through yet but I  can feel its little razor edge in my mouth and keep feeling it with my tongue and gums much to mum and dad's amusement because I keep pulling funny faces as if I am chewing on something.

This weekend was rainy rainy all the time. This combined with my teething made me pretty grumpy! I got taken for a walk around a lake on Saturday (windy), then mum and dad got lost on the way to a soft play/pub (boring and too busy). Then we came back and I played with my toys (not fun while teething). There were a few more episodes with food trying things out like mango (too tangy) and carrot (yum yum) but generally the parents have failed to entertain me very well. On Sunday we went to Ikea (yawn) but it was pretty fun watching the rain today as it was torrential. I miss Italy and France!! At least mum and dad bought me a play tunnel at Ikea and tomorrow I'm going to practice crawling through it.

I have spent a lot of my energy this weekend learning how to climb things. Mainly my mum and dad when they are 'sleeping' in bed or mum when she is in an exhausted heap on the floor. I really really want to climb the tv unit and keep trying to do it while they are occupied but they keep saying 'no Vittorino'. I try to pretend I haven't heard but they keep picking me up and moving me away. Oh well, there's plenty of time yet! Daddy bought me some little finger puppets too at Ikea. These really made me laugh straight away. We also like to play a game where I chase a doggy teddy or teddy bear and then sometimes the teddy or doggy comes to get me! I am very excited when that happens!

I've put on a few videos showing my speedy crawling now. Everyone is amazed by this for some reason but really it's because I am a super baby and very strong and curious. I don't have time to hang about because I need to walk so I can get to the really good stuff. Mummy doesn't seem to understand that and keeps trying to distract me with nappy changes and feeds so I cry and let her know this is pointless and annoying.

lots of love Vittorio xxx
