Weekend of Words

Hello everyone!

Yummy dessert! Bannoffee pie!

This weekend after I went for a walk to the veggie man with daddy, we drove out to Rothbury to meet Steve and Carys who had gone to look at a puppy they are thinking of buying and might be coming to visit our house too. We were going to go for a walk but as I was asleep and it was very cold we just went for some lunch in the nearby pub. I was very good and listened to the grown ups and practiced my smiles on them all.

Later we went home and everyone played scrabble. Carys won the first game and daddy won the second game. Steve and mummy seemed like the most competitive but they did the worst which I thought was very funny. Steve blamed me for putting me off his game as I kept staring at him. Mummy also said she couldn't think properly while she was holding me. Excuses excuses!!!

On Sunday I practiced batting the toys on my play mat. As you can see I started out slowly and could only look at them from below, but by the end I was hitting out and controlling my hands. I was pretty pleased with myself but nowhere near as excited as mummy and daddy. After that we all went for a looooong walk to the Silverlink in my pram. I slept but enjoyed the sun and fresh air.

Later the scrabble resumed with just mummy and daddy while I continued my nap. Daddy beat mummy again!! See photo evidence below:
