4 Months Old Today!

Well this week has flown by and now today I have hit the big 4, 4 months that is!

I have managed to hit a milestone straight away this month by turning myself from my back to my front - and I managed it in my sleep! I woke up this morning and there I was somehow on my tummy. I tried flapping my arms around to get myself back the right way but to no great effect so I got a bit stressed out and shouted for help so that mummy could turn me back!

Mummy has now started to do a weird little dance every time she leaves me anywhere as I think she can tell I'm practicing my acrobatics regularly now and might start rolling across the room any minute. One of her solutions today was to put me in a strange sort of square chair. I've got to me honest though, I liked it even less than my Bumbo.

We did some shopping today (boring! I made daddy carry me out of the pram it was so bad, although they did  buy me my stylish cowboy style bib). We went to a baby shower (too many girls there so I played with a plastic spoon). The best part of the day was when I went on a long walk with mummy and daddy in the country in my sling and we saw lots of wild primroses and bluebells. Then it was time for bath and bed. I went into the big bath tonight with daddy and it was great fun to have a buddy in there.

Ok see you later fans! xxx

Me, tonight, bath time!

Hello to all my blog followers!

Sorry I have been off the blog for a little while but life has been pretty hectic. I'll start with this week and work myself backwards. Mummy and me have been busy making lots of new friends this week at places like Jittabugs, which is a new group for babies in Whitley Bay to have fun fun fun. We play with things like parachutes and bounce balloons on there, we played with velvety snakes which I loved to touch, and this week the music theme was 'Dirty Dancing', so at one point mummy did 'the lift' and I laughed lots!

I have been watching the progress of Daddy's pepper and courgette plants this week (and trying to sabotage them by pulling them out of the pot while sat in my Bumbo seat!). Sadly the tomato plants died at the seedling stage but 2 out of 3 ain't bad...

This weekend we vitied Grandma and Grandad. As usual Grandma took the lion's share of the work (and the cuddles)...

But that's not to say Grandad never got a look in...and Colette, Simon, my cousins, Uncle Jamie, auntie Sue, etc etc!

While I was there, Grandma and Grandad gave me a baby bouncer for the door. I was a bit skeptical at first, but as you can see I have very much warmed to it now and love to wobble around in there like a big boy. I like it best when mummy watches me and makes me feel proud of myself with constant praise and attention.

My neck is very strong now and I'm getting really good at sitting up on my own for a few seconds and lying on my tummy with my head and shoulders off the ground. This is great because I can play with more toys and also sit in my special seat called a Bumbo which allows me to explore books and things on my own without mummy constantly interfering!

By the way I am now 14ibs and 2oz (over 6kg) and still growing! I blame it on all the Italian sunshine!

My last week in Italy

We had a great time exploring Molini even though it rained. Nonna told off Daddy for letting my little toes get so cold!!!

My cousin and Auntie came back for more cuddles!

Me and Daddy explored the fishing boats

I got a very exciting gift from my new friends Enrico and Paola (thanks guys!). I am a bilingual baby and this is a bilngual bear!

My new favourite hobby - pulling hair

Now I know why it's called the Cote D'Azure

Me and Nonno chase pigeons at the station while Nonna and Daddy get the train tickets to the airport.Leaving was very very sad and I miss my Nonno and Nonna very much.

Mia Seconda Settimana in Italia

i carciofi:

L'uovo era grosso quanto me!

Siamo andati in spiaggia

e ho dormito bene in carrozzina con nonna e Wanda.

Tanti Auguri di Buona Pasqua!!
